Made in Canada: Why Local Manufacturing Matters

Where your food is made is part of what your food is.

"Made in Canada" is more than a flag on the box for us. Manufacturing at home shapes the product and the company in ways worth explaining.

Closer oversight, tighter quality

Making our products in Canada keeps manufacturing close to the people who designed the recipes. That proximity makes it easier to hold a consistent quality standard and to move quickly when we want to improve something — shortcuts are harder to hide when the line is close to home.

Supporting the local economy

Local manufacturing supports local jobs and suppliers. When you choose a product made at home, more of that value stays in the community — a small but real vote for the kind of economy you want.

Freshness and supply resilience

Shorter, more local supply chains can mean fresher products on shelves and fewer disruptions than long international routes are prone to. It's one less thing between the recipe and your gym bag.

Part of who we are

Flex Foods was born in a Vancouver test kitchen, and we're proud to keep our roots here — right down to our recovery line made in Burnaby, BC. Every product is vegan, Kosher, Non-GMO and made in Canada, to a standard we'd feed our own families. 🍁
