How to Hit 100g of Protein a Day Without Chicken and Rice
A realistic plant-based day that clears 100g — built from things you'll actually eat.

One hundred grams of protein sounds like a lot when your mental image is chicken breasts stacked in Tupperware. It's much more doable — and fully plant-based — when you spread it across the day and lean on convenient options. Here's a sample day.
A sample 100g+ day
Breakfast (~15g): A bowl of Flex Cereal brings 15g of oat protein before you've even had coffee.
Mid-morning (~38g): A CheatDay Smoothie on your commute adds 38g and tastes like dessert.
Lunch (~20–30g): A tofu or tempeh bowl, or lentils and grains, easily covers 20g+.
Afternoon (~20g): A bag of Nacho Chips = 20g and a satisfying crunch.
Dinner (~20g): Beans, edamame, seitan or a plant protein of choice.
Dessert (~14–28g): Gummies (14g) or a frozen pint's worth (28g) to close out.
Add those up and you're comfortably past 100g — without a single chicken breast.
Three principles that make it easy
1. Spread it out. Four or five 20–35g hits are easier than two giant ones, and your body uses protein well across the day.
2. Drink some of it. Liquids are the fastest way to close a gap when you're busy. A smoothie does in 60 seconds what a plate takes 20 minutes to do.
3. Make snacks count. If your between-meal snacks each carry 12–20g, you hit your target almost by accident.
The honest note
Whole foods — legumes, tofu, tempeh, grains — should anchor your day. Convenient protein products fill the gaps that real life creates. Used that way, 100g stops being a chore and becomes a default.
