5 High-Protein Smoothie Bowl Ideas

Same macros, more toppings, infinitely more satisfying.

A smoothie bowl is just a thicker smoothie you eat with a spoon — which somehow makes it far more satisfying. Start with a high-protein base and build. Here are five combos.

The base formula

Blend a CheatDay Smoothie (or your protein of choice) with frozen fruit and a little less liquid than usual so it stays thick enough to hold toppings. Then top for crunch, fiber and flavor.

1. Coffee crunch

Proffucino or Java Chip base, topped with cacao nibs, banana coins and a spoon of nut butter. Dessert energy, breakfast macros.

2. Berry protein

Strawberry Cheesecake base with mixed berries, chia seeds and a handful of Flex Cereal for crunch and extra protein.

3. Green recovery

Malt or vanilla-leaning base blended with spinach (you won't taste it), topped with kiwi, pumpkin seeds and coconut flakes.

4. Pistachio dream

Pistachio base with crushed pistachios, pomegranate seeds and a drizzle of tahini for a savory-sweet finish.

5. PB and jelly

Vanilla base with a swirl of peanut butter and berry compote, topped with crumbled Flex Crispies.

Keep toppings protein- and fiber-forward and a "treat" bowl quietly hits your goals. Grab a spoon.
